Main Meal: Spicy, Italian Tomato Soup Ingredients
- 1 10.5 oz can condensed tomato soup
- Red pepper flakes
- Garic powder
- Italian seasoning
Directions
- In a medium sauce pan, empty the can of condensed soup. Fill the empy soup can with water and empty that into the sauce pan with the condensed soup.
- Generously add red pepper flakes, garlic powder and italian seasoning to the soup mixture.
- Heat the soup on low-medium heat until heated through and starts to bubble.
Nutritional Information
- Same as what’s on the can of soup. The spices do not add any additional nutritional elements.
Side
- A grilled cheese sandwich pairs nicely with soup.
Add protein: add any left over lean protein source like diced or shredded chicken, even turkey meatballs would be a terrific protein addition.
Add veggies: in a separate pan, sautee or steam a bag of frozen vegitable soup mix, then add to the tomato soup mixture once warm.
